Main Functions
Connection and Securing: Secure containers to transport vehicles, preventing displacement or falls (e.g., corner casting locks, twist locks);
Door Sealing: Secure container doors, preventing theft, water ingress, or cargo spillage (e.g., hinge locks, cam locks);
Security Indication: Some locks integrate a seal function to verify whether the container has been illegally opened (e.g., disposable plastic seal locks).
Application Scenarios
Twist locks and bridge locks are used together to secure multiple layers of containers on the ship's hold or deck, resisting wave impacts;
Must comply with international maritime standards (e.g., ISO 1161 Container Corner Casting Standard).
Truck chassis secure containers using corner casting locks or twist locks to ensure stability during high-speed driving;
Railway flatcars use turnbuckles or clamp locks to connect containers.
Stacking cones are inserted into the bottom corner castings of the upper containers to prevent displacement during stacking, with a maximum stacking height of 8 layers or more.
