  • Basic Structure and Principle

    Socket Type:

    One end of the fitting is a hollow socket, and the other end of the pipe is inserted into it, forming a preliminary positioning (similar to the structure of a water pipe inserted into a rubber seal).

    Banded Connection:

    A ring-shaped clamp (clamp, band clamp or metal ring) is fitted to the outside of the socket joint, and is fastened by bolts or locking devices to ensure connection sealing and strength.

    Core Components:

    Socket fittings: such as socket elbows, tees, and straight heads, the inner wall may have a rubber seal;

    Ring clamps: stainless steel clamps, galvanized steel strips or plastic rings, used to apply radial pressure to secure the pipe.

    Application Scenarios

    Pipeline Engineering:

    Water supply and drainage pipes (such as socket and banded connections of PVC and PE pipes);

    Gas pipelines (stainless steel socket fittings + metal clamps to ensure airtightness);

    Industrial pipelines (flexible connections for corrosive media or high-temperature pipelines).

    Machinery and Equipment:

    Automotive exhaust pipes (socket joint + clamp fixing, allowing for slight displacement);

    Ventilation system (after the air duct is inserted, it is locked with a steel band to prevent air leakage).
