Structure and Principle
A basket filter is a common pipeline filtration device. Its core structure includes:
Housing: The main body with pipe connections for fluid inlet and outlet;
Basket filter screen: A removable cylindrical filter screen used to intercept impurities (the filter screen pore size is selected according to requirements);
End cap: Used for removing and cleaning the filter screen (usually a flange or threaded connection).
During operation, the fluid enters from the inlet, passes through the filter screen, and flows out from the outlet. Impurities are retained in the filter screen, and the filter screen can be cleaned by periodically removing the end cap.
Application Scenarios
Industrial applications: Pipeline systems in the chemical, petroleum, metallurgical, and pharmaceutical industries, filtering particulate impurities from liquids (such as oil, water, and chemical media);
